Baby Sophie is now a bilateral cochlear implant user. She was implanted at 11.5 and 12.5 months of age. These posts are a way to keep family and friends up to date on her progress. We also hope to build a network of new friends along the way. We have a lot to learn on this journey and are also amassing lots of info that we would love to share with parents new to this journey.
Sophie has been doing well with her therapy sessions. To make ling sounds more fun, we switched from cards to toys. Imagine my surprise when this snake turned out to be anaconda sized instead of just a beanie baby, lol.
